What Is The Worcestershire Digital Festival?
The Worcestershire Digital Festival (WDF) is a new and exciting event for the county. WDF aims to support and encourage people and businesses from across Worcestershire to experience and explore our rich digital technology and culture.
The team behind the WDF is currently conducting research and a feasibility study with a view to the first Festival being held in May 2019, introduced by a “Mini Festival” at the end of September 2018.
The WDF aims to celebrate Worcestershire’s strong digital creativity and economy, expanding cyber security industry and the role that digital technology has in shaping and supporting life and culture in the county.
Worcestershire is one of the UK’s fastest growing for cyber security innovation and digital and new product innovation and this brand-new festival aims to showcase the best the county has to offer digitally.
We live in a world where we are connected 24/7 in business and in our personal lives. From digital writing, publishing and staying safe on line to digital innovation, business and more, the WDF aims to help shape the future of Worcestershire digitally.
When Will The Festival Run?
If there is enough positive interest in this event it is proposed that the main festival run in May 2019, with a smaller “Mini Festival” taking place at the end of September 2018.
