What Is The Worcestershire Digital Festival?

The Worcestershire Digital Festival (WDF) is a new and exciting event for the county.  WDF aims to support and encourage people and businesses from across Worcestershire to experience and explore our rich digital technology and culture. For more information about the Festival please visit our “About Us” page.

What events are likely to take place during the festival?

The Worcestershire Digital Festival aims to include a wide variety of talks, seminars, a digital expo, the first ever Worcestershire Digital Awards and the appointment of the first ever Worcestershire Blogger in Residence. We also aim to include talks and workshops on blogging, digital writing, digital publishing and digital art.

The Festival aims to support local businesses, organisations and members of the public.

How can I or my business/organisation get involved?

You can register your interest and interest in getting involved here.

When will the festival run?

If there is enough interest in the idea of a digital festival for Worcestershire it is likely it will run for a week in May 2019, with a “mini festival” taking place at the end of September 2018.

Can any business and organisations take part? How can I register an event?

Yes, the digital festival is open to businesses, organisations, members of the public, community groups and educational estabilishments. For those who want to organise their own self-contained event under the festival banner for inclusion in our programme this will be very welcome, and application forms for this will be available very soon.
